STEP 1: EXPLAIN DOMAINS

Type a few words in the Google.com search box, which most of your students have probably done many times. Point out that websites end in various domains including .com, .org, and .edu.

After explaining why some domains and some sources are more credible than others, show children an excellent shortcut to narrow their search to more credible sources.

Teach children about the keywords and advanced search techniques they can use to get price results. For example to find the definition of words “define” and then the word is used to know definition of a word. They can use the minus sign to exclude information from the search results. 

STEP 6: GIVE A LIST OF TIPS

Children should be aware of the websites appropriate for them. Teach them about cybersafety and not to give out any personal information to a stranger on the internet. Ask them to approach to you in case someone threatens them on emails or on chats.
