Progress Isn’t Linear | Kaintal Senior School

Every child strives for success. Whether it is in a classroom or in a sports field. The only thing he needs to understand is that the path will not be static. In order to attain success, you need to focus on the failures as well. That way you’ll be able to anchor your weaknesses and polish them. When students encounter failure, they tend to get disheartened. This, in turn, leaves them unmotivated and ultimately, they give up.

At Kaintal School, one of the best ICSE schools in Patiala, we have come up with certain suggestions on how to overcome your failures positively:

Accept That You Have Failed

Accepting failure gives you an opportunity to ponder over what steps you can take in order to amend the situation.

Do Not Let Your Failure Overpower You

Setbacks are a part of life. They do not define your future. Learn from them and move on with grace.

Stop Obsessing Over It

There’s no point in obsessing over something you cannot change. It will only increase stress.

Change Your Perspective

One of the most important things to do is focusing on the positive outcomes. There has to be at least one thing that failure must have taught you. Try to shift your perspective away from the negative.

Do Not Judge Yourself

A lot of people might try to give you feedback. It can be both negative and positive. Do not let that affect your self-esteem. There’ll be a lot of people judging you, do not be one of them.

Ask for Help

If you need help with something do not be afraid to ask. You’ll always need people to help you take off a little burden from your shoulders.

Don’t Be Afraid to Try Something New

Just because you failed once you don’t have to stop trying. Sometimes things need to be approached in a different way. While trying, you might find new ways of simplifying a task that can in turn help change your perception.

Topping the list of the best schools in Patiala, at Kaintal School, we believe that failure is a necessary stepping stone in order to build a success story. We help our students by making them aware that there will be hurdles at every point, therefore, the best way to overcome them is to embrace that progress isn’t linear.
